What Your Group Will Get

Every member of your TGA club gets an official Handicap Index through GHIN, the same system used by golfers across the world. That means fair competition within your group, eligibility for TGA events and One Day Series rounds, and a real measure of progress over time. Informal scorekeeping is fine. Official handicaps are better.

TGA clubs can be friend groups and weekend foursomes. Corporate golf leagues, neighborhood associations, and online groups whose members play at different courses across the state. If your group plays golf together and wants official handicaps, TGA has a club format that fits.

Three Steps to Start
Your TGA Club

Getting your group set up as an official TGA club is straightforward. 

  • First, designate a club administrator who will manage membership.
  • Second, register your club through TGA and pay the annual club fee.
  • Third, gather at least 10 members, add them to your club, and start posting scores through GHIN.
