Team Tennessee gives selected junior golfers access to structured competitive opportunities, national program resources through the U.S. National Development Program (USNDP), and the experience of representing Tennessee against the best junior players in the country. For a junior golfer building toward a college career or beyond, Team Tennessee is the kind of credential and competitive experience that sets you apart.

Part of the U.S. National Development Program

Team Tennessee feeds into the USNDP, built around six pillars: talent identification, access to competition, national teams, athlete resources, player development, and athlete financial support. Tennessee was one of seven states in the original 2024 pilot and remains a core part of the program's expansion.

USNDP Benefits for Team Tennessee Members

Once named to Team Tennessee, athletes become part of the USNDP for the following calendar year. Benefits include recognition on USGA and USNDP platforms, expedited grant program access, exemptions to local AJGA events, invitations to future USNDP camps, and access to the official USNDP statistical platform.

The USNDP Grant Program

The USNDP Grant Program is available to junior golfers with financial need, whether or not they are Team Tennessee members. Grants up to $10,000 reimburse players for practice and tournament fees, travel, instruction, and equipment. Financial need and demonstrated potential to progress through the USNDP pathway are both required for consideration.
