FRANKLIN, Tenn. — For the third year, the Tennessee Golf Association, Tennessee Golf Foundation and Tennessee PGA Section are excited to announce the roster for 2027's Team Tennessee. A collaborative effort between the three entities of Golf House Tennessee and the U.S. National Development Program, Team Tennessee looks to identify, develop and prepare the next generation of elite golfers.
This year is extra special, with the announcement earlier in 2026 of the first competition between state teams. The event will feature six state teams, including Tennessee, competing in 54 holes of stroke play at Quixote Club.
“We are extremely proud and excited to be working with such an impressive group of Tennessee junior golfers,” Allison Brown, Executive Director of the Tennessee Golf Association, said. “In its third year as a program, we’re excited to continue to take Team Tennessee to new heights. This elite group of boys and girls will help us achieve that goal and more.”
The roster was selected by the Team Tennessee committee based on players’ performances throughout the 2026 season. The Team Tennessee committee includes representatives from the Tennessee Golf Association, the Tennessee Golf Foundation and the Tennessee PGA Section.
Team Tennessee is a part of the USNDP’s State Junior Team program – designed to expand, strengthen and diversify the American junior golf pipeline. Team Tennessee was one of the seven original pilot programs, first announced in 2023. The USGA has goals to expand to all 50 states by 2033.
